Ophélie Engasser (EU)

Ophélie Engasser bridges the worlds of data science and psychology, holding a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology with deep expertise in algorithmic bias, user behavior, and responsible AI design. As both a data scientist and researcher, she brings a unique dual perspective to the Tech & Wellbeing team. Alongside Mathilde Depaulis, Ophélie will help our audience understand the cognitive biases that are activated when interacting with AI assistants. Her insights will support developers and deployers in building more responsible AI agents, improving red-teaming strategies, and avoiding reputational pitfalls — ensuring that these tools enhance, rather than erode, user trust.
