Elena is also working on AI governance at the European level, serving as a member of the General Purpose AI Code of Practice Working Groups at the EU AI Office. Her cross-border expertise allows her to help clients prepare for both U.S. and EU regulatory frameworks, including the upcoming EU AI Act.

She is also the co-host of “AI and Real Life: Not Your Usual Take”, a podcast that explores AI’s legal, ethical, and societal impact in a down-to-earth, engaging format. Through this platform, Elena breaks down complex compliance topics and opens up critical conversations about the future of regulation and responsible innovation.

At AI ON US, Elena joins the Tech Policy Team, where she shares her expertise on risk, compliance, and policy shifts shaping the AI industry. Her work directly supports the summit’s mission to align innovation with ethics, inclusion, and legal foresight.
