HOW ARE THEY CONTRIBUTING to AI ON US?

Each of our partners brings unique expertise to the AI ON US Living Library and the AI Playbook, ensuring that every resource is practical, rigorous, and globally relevant.

  • MIT Future Tech – MIT FutureTech is a leading research hub dedicated to advancing safe, responsible, and human-centered AI. The team developed the AI Risk Taxonomy and leads the AI Risk Repository, a globally recognized framework for mapping risks across AI systems. At AI ON US, MIT FutureTech contributes through expert review and alignment of our 10 working groups with its taxonomy, ensuring every prototype and framework is validated against the latest research in AI safety and governance. Peter Slattery represents MIT FutureTech at the summit and engaging remotely, while serving on the Ethics Board, reviewing content, and helping select the top Responsible AI prototypes during the October 16 Sprint.

  • Epitech – Provides deep research on the future of work and ethics, including large-scale surveys of 6,000+ students and innovative learning strategies, helping us understand the expectations of the next generation in AI governance.

  • Open Ethics – Contributes its Ethics by Design Framework, offering logic trees, guided questions, and compliance tools that help participants integrate fairness, explainability, and accountability into AI systems.

  • Digital Peace – Focuses on digital rights and online safety, sharing insights and case studies to strengthen safeguards against cyber harms, disinformation, and technology-facilitated violence.

  • The Future Society – Brings policy expertise and global foresight on AI governance, connecting summit participants with international frameworks, negotiations, and regulatory debates shaping AI’s future.

  • Institute for Global Negotiation – Provides mediation and negotiation methodologies to help participants address ethical dilemmas, stakeholder conflicts, and complex decision-making in AI design.

  • iGlobal.Lawyer – Supports the legal and constitutional dimension of AI governance, contributing expertise on algorithmic justice, human rights, and responsible regulation in vulnerable contexts.

  • CyAN (Cybersecurity Advisors Network) – Offers global cybersecurity expertise, with insights on trust, resilience, and security-by-design practices crucial for safe AI deployment.

  • Arborus & GEEIS-AI (Gender Equality European & International Standard) – Ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded into AI projects, providing recognized frameworks that measure gender balance and ethical impact in organizations.

  • Numalis will engage during the ACADEMY Session. Numalis helps industries to confidently adopt Artificial Intelligence by providing state-of-the-art methods and tools to develop trustworthy AI systems through robustness validation and explainable decision-making processes.

In this conversation, Cristina Lunghi (Founder, Arborus & architect of the Arborus Charter for Inclusive AI) joins Marianne Mazaud (Co-founder, AI ON US—the international summit on Responsible AI, supported by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs) to explore how to turn AI risk into trust, governance, and performance.

Learn about the 30-year journey behind Arborus (GEEIS, UN SDGs Trophy, the first international charter for inclusive AI), why linking gender equality & AI is urgent. Finally, what are the biggest risks if we don’t act—and how to reverse the trend. More importantly, what signing the Arborus Charter actually commits you to (and the GEEIS-AI label).
