Renzo Díaz Giunta is a Peruvian lawyer and international policy advisor specializing in constitutional law, human rights, and emerging technologies. As Associate Editor at iGlobal Lawyer, he contributes to global debates on algorithmic justice, AI surveillance, and digital rights — grounded in the principles of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Renzo has advised the Congress of the Republic of Peru on AI regulation, data privacy, and responsible technology deployment. He has also worked with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, analyzing the legal and ethical risks of AI-powered spyware systems such as Pegasus, particularly in fragile democracies.

His international roles include serving as International Director of Constitutional Law at ODM and as advisor to the Secretariat of Academic Affairs at the National University San Antonio Abad of Cusco. Through these positions, he promotes legal education, democratic reform, and civic resilience across Latin America.

Renzo brings a constitutional lens to AI governance, ensuring that innovation does not come at the expense of freedom, privacy, or human dignity — especially in regions where rights are most at risk.
