Laura Berton (EU)
IP Lawyer & Digital Ethics Expert | Digital Ads

Laura Berton is a seasoned intellectual property, technology and privacy lawyer with a rare combination of legal expertise and creative insight. As a Partner at Kepler Wolf, she advises technology companies, creatives, and startups on digital regulation, artificial intelligence, data protection, and intellectual property strategy across Europe (UK/EU).
Laura has a distinct professional trajectory: Before specializing in AI ethics and regulation, she spent years working hands-on with video marketing materials helping clients navigate IP risks, licensing, contracting, data privacy issues while maintaining narrative authenticity and community trust. This gives her a nuanced understanding of both the legal frameworks that shape innovation and the storytelling imperatives that connect brands to people.
To deepen her impact at the intersection of law, technology, and ethics, Laura is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Practical Ethics at the University of Oxford, where she explores the philosophical underpinnings of responsible innovation, including fairness, transparency, and digital rights.
At AI ON US, Laura is a key contributor to the Innovation & Culture Team, where she collaborates with Jakub Kubalski (entertainment and AI IP lawyer) and Barbu Harsan (marketing artist). Together, they explore how AI can be used creatively and ethically — helping brands build trust, preserve authenticity, and respond to fast-changing expectations in AI-powered communication.
She also brings her expertise to the AI ON US Creative Sprint Team, where she will guide our 100 participants through a high-impact, 3-hour prototyping session. This immersive workshop will focus on identifying real-world market issues related to AI risks and turning them into opportunities — by building responsible AI solutions that turn compliance into a competitive edge.
💬 “The future of AI lies in human-centric technology that blends innovation with integrity and accountability to create real world impact.” — Laura Berton
