Sarah Amos (USA)

Sarah Amos is a seasoned professional at the intersection of technology, media, and product management, with over a decade of experience in AI safety and trust. Currently, she serves as a Product Manager at Humane Intelligence, where she leads initiatives aimed at enhancing the safety and reliability of AI systems.


Simultaneously, Sarah operates Soma Labs, an independent consultancy, advising startups and scale-ups on developing strategies that build user trust and safety around AI technologies. Her strategic insights have been instrumental in helping organizations navigate the complex landscape of AI ethics and user trust.


Previously, Sarah worked closely with Twitter's Trust and Safety Team as a Product Manager for Civic Integrity, developing features to mitigate platform manipulation, misinformation, and abuse during global election cycles. 


Sarah spent over eight years at Dataminr, an AI startup that helps businesses identify emerging risks to their brands, people, and assets. There, she founded and led the R&D Department, spearheading Dataminr Pulse's Corporate Risk content detection strategy focused on executive protection, physical asset security, and cyber risks for Fortune 500 companies including Apple, Morgan Stanley, and UnitedHealth.


Sarah's career began in journalism, providing her with a unique perspective on information integrity that continues to inform her approach to product management. 


At the AI ON US Summit, Sarah is an integral member of both the Trust and Safety Team and the Creative Sprint Team, bringing her wealth of experience to collaborative efforts aimed at fostering responsible AI development.
